Join Us! Become a Friend of Holt Island
What do the Friends do? The Friends promote the use and enjoyment of Holt Island Nature Reserve in St Ives for the benefit of all. We help the District Council Ranger improve, extend and advance all services provided to the public, schools and local organisations.
We improve the visitor experience, raise funds, seek grants and support projects. We arrange events to engage with children and families and we offer an Education Pack for teachers to use with classes on the Reserve. We issue a newsletter The Islander to our members and we increase public awareness of this wonderful green oasis on the river in our town.
We shall be delighted to welcome you as a Friend of this special place. Yearly membership costs just £10 per household (£5 for an individual), or £150 for lifetime membership (£75 for an individual). Download the form below and return it to [email protected] or the address on the form. Payment may be made via the donate button at the top of this page (use reference “mbr+surname”). Alternatively make a cheque payable to Friends of Holt Island Nature Reserve.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to assist the Ranger’s work parties please contact [email protected]
